Ronnie’s Seeds started in a family living room back in 1993. It started with one idea, a lot of conversation, and a willingness to try something different.
The Plan
At the time, there were no local sunflower seed roasting providers and the available seeds were more shell than seed. Our vision was to provide our community with JUMBO seeds that seriously taste great!
1994
By 1994, the first bag of Ronnie’s Original Jumbo Roasted Sunflower Seeds was made and we’ve been cracking shells ever since.

Our mission is clear; give the people something to crack! We started with an ambitious mission to be the first to provide Southern Manitoba with JUMBO roasted sunflower seeds that taste great.
